Matt Haxton grew up in Mason City, IA. He has been with the school district for 4 years as a Data Systems Specialist. It is his job to make sure the software is properly talking to each other. Before working with the district, Matt worked in IT at the University of Iowa Hospitals.
As a warm blooded animal, Matt feels that he would rather be covered in fur than scales. It seems more insulating. He would pick the fur of a river otter specifically.
Matt identifies with the fictional character, Holden Caulfield, from The Catcher in the Rye. Although, he hopes he has matured a bit.
A fictional place Matt would most like to live in would be Neverland, even though it’s probably more wooded than grassy.
